The roles I’ve filled have focused on protecting and supporting others, especially youth. Across more than seven years in public service, I have assessed risk and safety, investigated complex situations, worked with incomplete information, documented findings, and helped carry out difficult decisions affecting individuals and families. Through this work, I’ve learned that even small acts of care can have a substantial impact, no matter how complicated and imperfect the systems are.
